Easy Chili Cheese Party Dip

The Green Bay Packers are playing a play off game against the Arizona Cardinals tonight. Go Pack Go! We are not only fans, we are also stock holders :)

If you are anything like us, stocking up on snack foods makes watching the game even better! Here is an extremely easy Chili Cheese Dip that is bound to be a hit!

Begin by letting a block of cream cheese soften. I always take it out of the packaging and let it sit in my 9 x 9 glass pan for a little while. If you don't have time to wait, you can pop it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. You just want it to be soft enough that you can use a spoon to spread it out along the bottom of the pan.

Once the cream cheese is smoothed out, open a can of Hormel chili and dump that on top. Use your spoon to smooth that out into a consistent layer.

Smother the top of the chili with shredded cheese. I typically use colby jack, but you can use whatever kind you like. Also, the best shredded cheese is the kind you shred yourself. Not necessary, but makes it even yummier!

Pop the whole thing into the microwave for 5 minutes, let it cool for 1 minute, then it is ready to serve! Eat with tortilla or corn chips :)

The recipe is below, enjoy!
