Happy Wednesday :) Today is halfway through week 2 of spring break. We have been having so much fun alternating between having adventures and vegging out at home!

The first time I made these cookies it was for a family reunion cookie exchange. Every person attending would bring several dozen cookies and everyone got to go home with a couple of each variety.
It was such a wonderful party and these cookies were a hit! I actually ended up making them again not too long after that party because I had to give too many of them away :)

Happy Throwback Thursday! While I was pregnant with Olivia, I spent way too much time looking up ideas for her nursery. One of my favorite ideas that I found were yarn wrapped letters to hang on the wall. I loved the pop of color against the wall, in addition to the texture of the yarn.

Today is International Women's Day. It is a day to acknowledge and appreciate the wise women who came before us to pave the way towards equal rights. In addition, it is a day to empower females of all ages. This year, for the first time, I am viewing this day not only through my own eyes but also through the eyes of my daughter.

Our local movie theater has one of the coolest programs I know about. Every spring and fall, they offer 9 weeks of free family movies. Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 AM, you can see the selected movie completely free of charge! Recently, they changed the policy so that you need to have a Frequent Movie Goer card which provides 6 free admissions. Non-members must pay $1 per ticket. Guess how much it costs to get a FMG card? NOTHING!

I have to be honest, I'm actually not the biggest fan of banana bread. I know, I know, I'm crazy!!! That being said, Paul and several of my other favorite people thoroughly enjoy it! So, when I notice that I have bananas that are past their prime, I love to whip up a loaf :)

March is here! Today in Indiana, it is rainy and dreary which actually makes it feel like spring! That being said, midwest weather likes to bungee jump around as the seasons change, so I won't be surprised if we have another snow or two before warm weather is here to stay.
In honor of the impeding spring, I am going to be doing a March photo challenge! I will be sharing the pictures primarily on Instagram, but you will probably be able to find them on a few of the other social media sites if you keep your eyes open.
